"Ask the consultant" copyright June 5, 1981 excerpt from the book Feagler's Cleveland, the best from three decades of commentary by Cleveland's top columinist by Dick Feagler, Gray and Company Publishers, 1968-1996, pg 109-110  This article has educational purposes.

Education was never this complicated.

Read this article that was written over 30 years ago.  It is as true today as it was back then.  Why have politicians ruined our schools?  Simple, it means more money can be moved to special interest groups for "their fixes".  By legislating policies that would hamstring good educational practices they can put in place contracted groups [to pretend] to fix them.  (ie. No Child Left Behind, Common Core, etc.)
